Sitala Maaju

Sitala Maaju also known as Pyathoo Ajima is believed to be the form of Maa Harati. One can see Sitala Maaju carrying a child in her lap as same as Maa Harati carries. Both goddess are worshipped for the welfare and prosperity of children’s. Even both goddess are offered Kala Puja from devotees. They are considered as same form. When children’s get sick then devotees take puja to the temple of Maa believing that their children will recover soon. There is also a temple dedicated to Sitala Maaju inside the Bajalu Park. Every year in 22 Dhara mela the goddess is offered huge puja and many animals are sacrificed inside the temple for Maa.
